Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. Stephan Hobe, LL.M., holds the Chair

for Public International Law, European Law, European and

International Economic Law at the University of Cologne.

Concurrently he is the Director of the Institute of Air Law,

Space Law and Cyber Law of the University of Cologne

and Co-Director of the International Investment Law Centre

Cologne. He studied law at the German universities of Munich,

Freiburg and Göttingen, receiving his LL.M. from McGill

University (Canada) and his doctorate as well as his habilitation

in law from the University of Kiel (Germany). Professor Hobe

is Board Member of the International Institute of Space Law,

the Chairman of the Space Law Committee of the International

Law Association (ILA), and sits on the boards of various

associations, including the European Centre for Space Law and

the German Society of International Law. Professor Hobe is also

editor of the German Journal of Air and Space Law (Zeitschrift

für Luft- und Weltraumrecht – ZLW), the series ‘Studies in Air

and Space Law’ (Carl Heymanns Verlag / Cologne, Berlin,

Bonn, Munich) and the book series ‘Cologne Studies on Public

International Law and European Law’ (LIT-Verlag/ Münster).

He is also co-editor of the looseleaf collection ‘Space Law –

Basic Legal Documents’ (Eleven International Publishing/

  

of public international law, European law, German public law,

air and space law, and international investment law.

Professor Dr. Bernhard Schmidt-Tedd is Chairman

of the LSC Working Group on Status and Application

          

Legal Support and was former Head of Legal Support

 

Administration of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

He lectures space law as an Honorarprofessor at the

Leuphana University and the Institute of Space Systems,

University of Stuttgart (Germany). He completed his law

studies at universities in Cologne and Geneva, receiving his

doctoral in law from the University of Cologne (Germany).

El Profesor Dr. Dr. h.c. Stephan Hobe, LL.M., es titular

Comunitario, y Derecho Económico Europeo e Internacional

de la Universidad de Colonia. Simultáneamente, es

Ciberespacio de la Universidad de Colonia, y Codirector

del Centro de Derecho Internacional de las Inversiones de

Colonia. Estudió Derecho en las universidades de Munich,

Derecho Espacial, Presidente de la Comisión de Derecho

Espacial de la Asociación de Derecho Internacional, y

miembro en las juntas directivas de varias asociaciones,

como el Centro Europeo de Derecho Espacial y la Sociedad

Alemana de Derecho Internacional. El profesor Hobe tam-

El Profesor Dr. Bernhard Schmidt-Tedd, actualmen-

te Presidente del Grupo de Trabajo sobre la Situación y

Aplicación de los Cinco Tratados de las Naciones Unidas

relativos al Espacio Ultraterrestre de la Subcomisión de

Asuntos Jurídicos de COPUOS, fue Director de la Asesoría

Jurídica, y Especialista Superior en el Departamento de

Asuntos de las Naciones Unidas de la Administración

del Espacio del Centro Aeroespacial Alemán (DLR).

Enseña Derecho del Espacio como profesor honorario

en la Universidad de Leuphana y en el Instituto de

Sistemas Espaciales de la Universidad de Stuttgart,

Alemania. Cursó sus estudios de Derecho en las univer-

sidades de Colonia y Ginebra, recibiendo su título de

doctorado en Derecho por la Universidad de Colonia.
