LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
T hunderbird International Business Review is
undergoing some major changes. The most vis-
ible of these is a change in the format of our
articles. This issue will contain the remaining traditional
format articles. It is quite a large general issue. Less visible
is another thing. Basically, articles will go into early view
as soon as they have been reviewed, accepted and format-
ted. This is an effort on the part of our publisher, Wiley,
to speed up the time it takes for research to reach its tar-
get audience. We will still place these articles in Volumes
and Issues as we have done for over 60 years, but they will
be available to our audience, academic and professional
colleagues for reading sooner. As we move forward, we
intend to continue publishing several special issues in
each volume that bring thinking about contemporary
issues from boutique conferences around the world to
our audience. We will also publish at least two general
issues each year. I do not anticipate that these changes
will have a significant impact on our readers or authors.
As technology and expectations change, thriving requires
us to change along with the times. We hope you enjoy and
benefit from these changes.
