1. FUNDAMENTOS DE LA RESOLUCIÓN

Ilustrativo de la dif‌icultad de la tarea asumida por el IDI al elaborar su Re-

solución de 31 de agosto de 2019 sobre los aspectos de Derecho internacional

privado (DIPr) relativos a la vulneración de los derechos de la personalidad

en Internet (en adelante, Resolución) 1 es que va referida a un sector en el

que no ha sido posible la adopción de normas comunes sobre ley aplicable

ni siquiera en el seno de la UE, lo que resulta excepcional, habida cuenta

de la unif‌icación de esas normas en el resto de sectores de responsabilidad
