ITC at WSIS 2005: bridging the "use divide".

Building on its experience during the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2003 in Geneva, ITC is organizing three events on "e@Work", bringing the voice of the business sector in developing countries to WSIS 2005 in Tunis:

* Workshop: "Bridging the 'Use Divide'",

14 November 2005 Improving firms' management capacity to apply technology-based business solutions is the theme of this workshop, open to 100 participants. They include managers of small firms, government experts on e-trade development and national e-business advocates.

* Workshop: "e@Work: Small Business, ICT and Export Growth", 15 November 2005 This event focuses on online exports by firms in developing and transition economies. Lessons and best practices in information technology-enabled service exports, business process outsourcing and e-marketplaces will help guide responses to new global information technology and trade development challenges.
