e article aims to analyze the impact of the Brazilian National Council of Jus-
tice (CNJ) policies on the digital transformation of the Judiciary, providing re-
ections on the need for this in light of the rapid changes in social and economic
dynamics that have taken place in recent decades, including technological dis-
ruptions. For that, a brief contextualization of the Brazilian Judiciary will be
carried out, followed by the presentation of the CNJ Program Justice 4.0 and its
initiatives over the years 2020-2022 in the construction of the so-called Judiciary
4.0, adapting the millenary institution to contemporary society and new times
and establishing the concepts of online courts and digital justice as the best way
to expand access to justice and to increase judiciary eciency .
