STORYLINE Although Wednesday's 7.6 magnitude earthquake in Costa Rica didn't leave major damage, it caused a lot of structures to move violently such as this supermarket in Naranjo city. Surveillance camera video from inside the supermarket shows how the impact of the quake caused shelves to sway and knocked down dozens of food items to the floor. Shoppers caught off guard tried to leave the supermarket when they felt the tremors. As a whole, Costa Rica suffered little damage from the quake, a few blocked highways, some collapsed houses and one death, of a heart attack caused by fright. Officials credited the relatively deep location of the quake and strict building codes that Costa Rican officials call as strict as those in California and Japan.
