EAST ASIAN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION

The East Asian Economic Association was established in 1987 as the first international academic

organization to focus on the economics of East Asia, comprising Northeast and Southeast Asia.

The Association holds an international convention every two years. The Thirteenth Convention was

held on 19–20 October 2012 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore, and the Fourteenth

Convention was held on 1–2 November 2014 at the Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Wiley Blackwell publishes the Asian Economic Journal four times a year in March, June, September

and December on behalf of the Association. The East Asian Economic Association is responsible for

editorial matters as well as handling individual membership and subscriptions. Wiley Blackwell

handles all institutional subscriptions.

All subscriptions are supplied on a calendar year basis (January to December).

Individual members should remit payment by credit card or cheque in either US$ or HK$, payable to

Annual subscription fee for individual members

For 2015, the annual subscription fee for individual members is US$40/HK$310/JP¥4,500 for perma-

nent residents of developing East Asian economies (Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Indonesia,

Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Macao, Mongolia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Taiwan,

Thailand and Vietnam) and graduate students.

For all other individuals, the annual subscription fee is US$80/HK$620/JP¥9,000.
