The International Economy announces two new executive editors.

When we launched The International Economy magazine in 1987, the goat was to produce a "thought magazine" that would contribute to the emerging statecraft of international economics. The idea was to produce a publication "written by its readers," including policy-related articles written by policymakers themselves.

Since that time, what has become clear is that the global economic and financial scene enjoys a network of idea brokers--purveyors of the latest thinking on policy and markets--who are often several steps ahead of the pack. Of the individuals making up that network, David Hale and Adam Posen are unique.
