NGOs interested in becoming affiliated with the United Nations Department of Public Information should send an official letter from its headquarters to Paul Hoeffel, Chief, NGO Section, Department of Public Information, United Nations, Room S-1070L, New York, NY 10017. The letter should state the reasons why the organization seeks such association and briefly describe its information programmes. At least six samples of recent information materials produced by the applying organization should be attached. Chronicle Subscription

I'm definitely going to have to get a subscription. I used to read the Chronicle periodically years ago when I was on a mock UN panel in San Francisco, and had lost touch with what the UN was doing. Thanks for propelling onward with the issues of the world that deserve attention.
