LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Africa Rising!

Thunderbird International Business Review is committed to expanding

our knowledge surrounding international business in all regions of

the world. We regularly publish issues devoted to understanding

international business in Africa and in the Middle East, for example.

This Special Issue, “The Internationalization of African Firms:

Opportunities, Challenges and Risks”includes a broad range of arti-

cles by African scholars and specialists that provide insight into the

important and ever changing African international business phe-

nomenon. I would be remiss if I did not thank our guest editors,

Nathaniel Boso, Ifedapo Adeleye, Kevin Ibeh and Amon Chizema

for the superb job they have done attracting such interesting arti-

cles and guiding the authors through the review and publication

process. Without their contributions, this Special Issue would not

have been possible.

I am certain that practitioners and academics alike will benefit

from the insights presented in this Special Issue.
