Acknowledging the Contribution of
Reviewers
All academic journals rely on the commitment and professionalism of those members of the academic com-
munity who regularly act as reviewers. The editors of IJMR, on behalf of Wiley and the British Academy
Management, are very pleased to thank all those listed below who reviewed for the journal in 2018. Reviewers
play a crucial role in ensuring published work meets the highest possiblestandards in ter ms of rigour, relevance
and originality. IJMR publishesstate-of-the-ar t literature reviews and all papers appearing in the journal should
make a novel and significant conceptual contribution to the literature. We expect our reviewers to do their best
to ensure papers meet these criteria and that requires a substantial amount of commitment and diligence. Once
again, we offer our profound thanks to all those scholars who help ensure that IJMR is one of the leading
journals in the area of business and management. We are, of course, always keen to expand our database
of reviewers and if you would like to contribute to the journal you can register through the IJMR portal at
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ijmr.
In selecting this year’s award for Best Reviewer we are pleased to report that the standard of reviewing for
IJMR is very high and the majority of scholars provide insightful feedback that enables authors to improve their
papers.
After careful consideration, the editors-in-chief and associate editors were unanimous in agreeing that Nancy
Harding (University of Bath, UK) and Christian Hopp (RWTH Aachen University, Germany) made outstanding
contributions to the journal in 2018 and are therefore our joint Best Reviewers – manycong ratulations to Nancy
and Christian from the IJMR team.
Thank you to all our reviewers for your continued support of IJMR.
