Uzbekistan plans to give graduates certificates only in electronic form

Graduates of secondary schools in Uzbekistan will receive certificates only in electronic form from the current academic year, First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan Usman Sharifkhodzhaev announced in Telegram.

Last year a remote service for obtaining a duplicate certificate was launched, which was used by 20,000 people. The government decided to issue certificates in electronic form.

The innovation will save citizens from bureaucracy, save paper and funds allocated for the production of forms, and contribute to environmental protection, Sharifkhodzhaev noted.
