Uzbekistan, Eu Reach Understanding Concerning Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan and the European Union have reached understanding concerning structure of the draft of the enhanced partnership and cooperation agreement, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

The new agreement will replace the current agreement of 1 July 1999. The first round of the talks on the agreement was held in Tashkent on February 4-7. The delegation of Uzbekistan was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Dilshod Ahatov. The EU delegation was led by Luc Devigne, Deputy Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia of European External Action Service.
