Turkmenistan to Hold Talks With Eu on Trans-caspian Pipeline 02 December 2013, 12:41
Turkmenistan intends to hold negotiations with the European Union on implementation of project on construction of Trans-Caspian pipeline. European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger plans to visit Turkmenistan for this matter. In the first phase, issues related to assessment of environmental impact of the project with the participation of independent international experts, will be considered, according to Easttime.ru.
Project of the Southern Gas Corridor, providing gas supplies to Europe from Turkmenistan remains one of the main priorities of the EU energy policy.
