Turkmen Officials Learn About Prison Management in Turkey, With Osce Support 02 December 2013, 14:11
High level representatives of law-enforcement bodies and the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan discussed best practices in prison management during an OSCE-supported working visit to Turkey that concluded in Ankara today, the OSCE Office in Ashgabat reported.
During the week-long visit, participants learned about the penitentiary system in Turkey, relevant national legislation and practical aspects of prison management. The delegation visited closed and open prisons for women, men and juveniles, as well as the education facility for imprisoned juveniles.
