Tajik Trade With China Down, While Trade With Russia, Kazakhstan Up

AKIPRESS.COM - Tajikistan resumes and increases trade with Russia and Kazakhstan.

However, the size of the Tajik-Chinese trade has decreased. The volume of trade turnover of Tajikistan in the first quarter of this year made $775.5 million, which is 11.3% less compared to the same period of 2016, according to statistics.

Export of goods in the first three months of this year amounted to $230.1 million, which is 16.9% ($33.3 million) more than in January-March 2016/The growth of export is mainly explained by increase of export of mineral products (by 2.6 times) and transport means (6.7 times).

Import of products stood at $545.6 million, which is 19.4% ($131.7 million) less than in 2016.Thus...
