The General Assembly ,

Recal ling th e Charter of t he United Nati ons, in which it was stated, inter alia, t hat

all Mem bers of the United Natio ns shall ref rain in their internatio nal relation s from the

threa t or u se of force a gainst th e territ orial in tegrity or po litical independen ce of any

State, or in any other man ner incon sistent wit h the purp oses of the United Na tions,
