in Kosovo

The Gene ral Assembly,

Having considered the reports of the Secretar y-General o n the financ ing of the

United Nations Int erim Administrat ion Mission in Kosovo

and the related report of

the Advisor y Committee on Administr ative and Budge tary Questions,

Recalling S ecurity C ouncil resolution 1244 (1999) of 10 June 199 9 regardin g

the esta blishment of t he Unite d Nations Inte rim Administration Mission in Kos ovo,

Recallin g also its resolutio n 53/241 of 28 Jul y 1999 on the financing of t he

Mission and its subsequent resolutions thereon, the latest of which was resolution

73/318 of 3 July 2019, as well as its decision 73/555 of 3 July 2019,

Acknowle dging the complexity of the Mission ,

Reaffirm ing the genera l principle s underlyin g the fi nancing of Uni ted Nations

peacekee ping oper ations, as stated in its res olutions 1874 (S-IV) of 27 June 1 963,

3101 (XX VIII) of 11 Dece mber 1973 and 55/235 of 23 Decemb er 2000,

Mindful of the fa ct that it is essenti al to provi de the Miss ion with th e financial

resource s necessary to ena ble it to fulfil its r esponsibilitie s under the releva nt

resoluti ons of the Secu rity Council,

Mindful a lso of the need to ensure coord ination and coop eration with the

European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo,
