The General Assembl y,

Recall ing all previous r esolutions on the promotion of the right to peace a nd the

promot ion of peace as a vital require ment for the full e njoyment of al l huma n rights

by all, ad opted b y the General Assembly, the Co mmission on H uman R ights an d th e

Human Rights Co uncil, in pa rticular Cou ncil resolu tion 20/ 15 of 5 July 2012,

to th e prese nt resol ution;

the Declarat ion and to prom ote univ ersal re spect an d under standing thereof ;

3. Decide s to contin ue cons ideratio n of th e quest ion of the pro motion of the

right to pe ace at its sevent y-third se ssion under th e i tem entitle d “ Promoti on and

prot ection o f human rights”.
