Reaf firming its comm itment to promo ting i nternatio nal co operati on, as set

fort h in the Cha rter of the United Nati ons, in particu lar Article 1, parag raph 3, a s

well as r elevant pr ovisions o f t he Vienna Dec laration a nd Progr amme of Acti on,

adop ted by t he World Confere nce on H uman R ights on 25 Ju ne 1993 ,

Reca lling its adop tion of the Uni ted N ations Mi llennium Dec laratio n on

to 8 Sept ember 2001 , th e D urban Revie w C onferen ce, held in Geneva fro m 2 0 t o

24 Apri l 2009, and t he poli tical d eclarati on of the h igh-leve l meeti ng of the Gen eral

Asse mbly to c ommemor ate the te nth anniv ersary o f the adop tion of th e Durban

Decl aration and Prog ramme of Actio n,
