President Japarov: "We will turn rescue service into profession of special pride"

President Sadyr Japarov today attended the ceremony of handover of special vehicles to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Health and Bishkek Mayor Office today in Bishkek.

The special vehicles handed over to the Ministry of Emergency Situations are valued at $20 million and were donated by the government of China.

"Climate change triggers emergency situations leading to economic crises. Ensuring safety for people and regions of the country is one of the key issues on the agenda. The promise to provide state-of-the-art equipment for fire fighters and rescuers is kept," President Sadyr Japarov said.

The President reminded apart from 100 fire trucks, 2 helicopters, 81 engineering equipment items and 34 items of other equipment were purchased recently.
