President al-Assad receives Sheikh Abdallah bin Zayed: Syrian people appreciate The UAE's stance

12 February 2023 (Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA)) Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received on Sunday Foreign and International Cooperation Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Abdallah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the accompanying delegation to discuss the repercussions and effects of earthquake that hit Syria.

The UAE minister conveyed the condolence of President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to President al-Assad and the Syrian people.

He expressed his sincere condolence to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

The minister also reiterated his country's support for Syria during this ordeal, adding his country will continue to provide the assistance required to help the Syrian people overcome the aftermath of the earthquake.
