Parliament of Kyrgyzstan passes draft law on sanctions in cases of disrespecting teachers

The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved the draft amendments to the Code of Offenses in the third reading on January 12.

The amendments aim to counter disrespect for teachers.

The MPs earlier returned the bill for revision. They did not agree with the financial penalty for disrespecting a teacher.
