En la oea, bolivia defiende su proceso de transformación política

El gobierno de Bolivia defendió hoy, ante la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA), el proceso de transformación impulsado por el Presidente Evo Morales, resaltando su objetivo de crear una Bolivia más inclusiva, que reconozca e incluya los derechos de los pueblos originarios, que representan el 65% de la población.
Invitada a la última sesión del año del Consejo Permanente de la OEA y recibida por el Embajador argentino Rodolfo Gil, presidente del Consejo Permanente, la Ministra de Producción y Microempresa de la República de Bolivia, Celinda Sosa Lunda, se dirigió a los Representantes Permanentes explicando que su país atraviesa “un momento de profundos cambios, haciendo realidad aspiraciones, no de ahora sino de muchos años, de una Bolivia más inclusiva”.
Gil aseguró que “es importante afirmar la institucionalidad y fortalecer a las autoridades de un gobierno que el pueblo boliviano ha elegido, así como su derecho a darse formas de institucionalidad democrática que decidan de manera autónoma”. Añadió que el Consejo Permanente, foro político de la OEA que reúne a los representantes de los 34 Estados Miembros, está “acompañando espiritualmente el proceso de transformación y cambio, así como la profundización de la democracia, el proceso pacífico, la pluralidad, y la inclusión de todos los actores bolivianos en una Constitución que debe cobijar como ley madre absolutamente a todos”.
El Secretario General de la OEA, José Miguel Insulza
agradeció la presencia de los miembros del gabinete del Presidente Evo Morales, valoró el espíritu de sus expresiones y manifestó su respeto “por los procedimientos a los que el pueblo de Bolivia recurre en su búsqueda de caminos hacia cambios tan necesarios en ese país”. Seguidamente saludó “la voluntad de diálogo siempre abierta, la mano siempre tendida para buscar el consenso y la concordia, de todos los bolivianos”.
