National Statistical Committee estimates GDP of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 at 7%

The gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan is preliminarily estimated at more than 919 billion soms in January-December 2022, National Statistical Committee Chairman Baktybek Kudaibergenov told a press conference.

This is by 7% more than in January-December 2021, he said.

Excluding Kumtor project, the GDP in 2022 neared 864 billion soms and grew by 5.9%.
