MP Jamgyrchiev supports reopening of criminal case against him in connection with new circumstances

MP Emil Jamgyrchiev (Alliance) has come to the plenary session of the Parliament on January 11.

He took a leave one month ago in connection with illness of his father. The State National Security Committee said then the MP left the country and his whereabouts are unknown.

"The fact that the State National Security Committee was looking for me is their direct responsibility. If a citizen is missing, this citizen should be searched for. They should be thanked for their work. But I said on my social media page immediately where I was. I was in Bishkek all this time, in hospital with my father. He was taken to Turkiye then. I stayed here. I caught flu," MP Jamgyrchiev stated.

As for the audio recording equipment found in his house as claimed by MP Akaev, Jamgyrchiev said the case is still under investigation.

The MP supported reopening of his criminal case.
