Ministry of Labor to provide 10,000 low-income families with grants to start business

Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Kudaibergen Bazarbayev discussed entrepreneurship training for potential participants in the Social Contract project with Country Director of the UN World Food Program in Kyrgyzstan Kojiro Nakai.

The Ministry of Labor introduced a new model of lifting out of poverty last year, the Minister noted. Social contracts were concluded with 2,800 low-income families, who received 100,000 soms grants from the country's budget and were able to open a business.
