Mayor's Office Suggests to Increase Fares for Mini-bus Transport By 2 Soms

AKIPRESS.COM - Mayor's office of Bishkek suggests to increase the fares for mini-bus transport, head of transport department Kuban Jusupov said.

"The fares for public transportation have not been changed for 6 years in Bishkek. We suggest increasing fares for mini-bus travel by 2 soms ndash to 12 soms per passenger until 9 pm, and 14 soms after 9 pm," he said.

Fares for pensioners might increase by 1 som, he said. Current fare for elders is 5 soms.
