Kyrgyzstan repays public debt with record high $397.95 million in 2022

The record high 33.606 billion soms ($397.95 million) were spent for repayment of the public debt of Kyrgyzstan in 2022, which includes external and internal debts, the Ministry of Finance said.

22.113 billion soms ($261.85 million) were repaid for public external debt. This is a record sum in history of Kyrgyzstan.

Internal debt repayments amounted to 11.493 billion soms ($136.1 million).
