Kyrgyzstan is Increasingly Interested in Russian Language: Russian Education Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Education and Science Gulmira Kudaiberdiyeva met with her Russian counterpart Olga Vasilyeva to discuss cooperation in education between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

The meeting which took place in Moscow on the sidelines of Kudaiberdiyeva's working trip, the Ministers discussed in-service education and textbook adaptations. "Russia has always been a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan, we're ready for cooperation in education sector.

We're especially interested in adaptation of math and natural science books and in-service training of teachers," Kudaiberdiyeva said. Vasilyeva, for her part, said that Kyrgyzstan is increasingly interested in Russian language.
