Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Says 'won't Request Information About Suspected Organizer of St Petersburg Metro Blast Because He is Russian Citizen'

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz foreign ministry said it will not request information about the suspected organizer of St Petersburg metro blast because he is a Russian citizen.

Abror Azimov, born in 1990, has been detained in Odintsovo district near Moscow on April 17 by Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) on suspicion of organizing the metro blast. Azimov was reported to be a native of a Central Asian country.

Azimov was reported to be born in Kyrgyzstan, however, he obtained Russian citizenship, the statement says."According to media reports, Abror Azimov is a Russian citizen.

In this regard, Kyrgyzstani diplomats did not look into information about the detainee and the inquiry won't be requested. Interaction, if needed, will be carried out through the special services of...
