Kazakhstan to renounce agreements with Russia, Kyrgyzstan on mutual convertibility of currencies

Kazakhstan intends to renounce the agreement with Russia on mutual convertibility of tenge and ruble.

The agreement became irrelevant due to adoption of the legislation that comprehensively regulates all issues it addressed, Tazabek reported.

The agreement on measures of mutual convertibility of Russian ruble and Kazakh tenge exchange rates will be denounced. Kazakhstan also plans to denounce the agreement on organization of settlements with the Kyrgyz Republic of February 18, 1994.
