Kazakhstan entered the top three in terms of damage to the economy from Internet shutdowns in 2022, Tpo10VPN.com reports.

Kazakhstan ranked 3rd out of 23 countries that were most affected by the shutdowns. The outages cost Kazakhstan $410.3 million, affected 16,106,250 users and lasted a total of 144 hours.

The 1st place in the index is occupied by Russia, where the outages cost $21.59 billion. Iran is in 2nd place with $773 million.
