Kazakhstan, China Railway Authorities Agree on Transportation of Cargoes in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC national railway company Kanat Almagambetov and Chairman of the Board of the Urumqi Branch of the Chinese Railway Corporation LLC Mr Zhang Haitao held a working meeting to sum up the results of cooperation for 2018 and drawing plans for 2019.The meeting was held in Urumqi.

According to it, the rail transportation volume between Kazakhstan and China amounted to 13,979,000 tons or by 38% more than a year earlier. Kazakhstan transported 8,500,000 tons of cargo to China by railroad in 2018. The countries approved the forecast for cargo transportation for 2019 at 15,700,000 tons.
