Kanat Isaev placed under house arrest

The Pervomaiskiy district court of Bishkek has changed a restriction measure for Kanat Isaev. He was released and placed under house arrest until the end of trial - February 20.

According to the Ombudsperson's Office, Kanat Isaev is accused of preparation of organization of mass disorders. Several activists, bloggers, journalists and politicians were detained on these charges. Their houses were searched by police on October 23 and then they were taken into custody.
