Islam Karimov Receives Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev 02 December 2013, 11:20

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on November 29 received Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who arrived in Tashkent to attend a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, UzA reported.

It was stressed that Uzbekistan and Russia appreciate existing bonds of friendship and cooperation.

Fruitful results of Uzbek-Russian meeting at high level in April 2013 in Moscow intensified relations in the sphere of security, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, gazeta.uz reported.
