Indian businesses interested in pharmaceuticals and agricultural processing in Kyrgyzstan

Interest of Indian business in economy of Kyrgyzstan is growing, National Investment Promotion Agency Director Umbriel Temiraliev said during India-Kyrgyzstan Business Meet in Bishkek.

"This is the third or the fourth meeting already. Kyrgyzstan carried out lots of economic reforms for the past 2 years. The country was able to double direct investments," he said.

Most of investments were made not in mining, but in real sector, the National Investment Promotion Agency Director said.

Interest of Indian companies is growing lately in such areas as pharmaceuticals, agricultural processing, Umbriel Temiraliev said.
