Growth in Tajikistan to Moderate to 4.8%, Inflation to Accelerate to 8.0% in 2017: Adb

8% in 2017 as high loan losses limit bank lending and weak remittances curb consumption, despite some recovery in the Russian Federation and slightly better performance in other regional partners.Growth is expected to recover to 5.

5% in 2018 with higher externally financed public investment, the Bank said in its Asian Development Outlook 2017.Inflation is projected to accelerate to 8.0% in 2017 and then slow to 7.

0% in 2018.The budget deficit is projected to remain at 2.5% of GDP in 2017 and 2018 as weak imports limit customs receipts.
