Gantsmod-Gashuunsukhait checkpoint on Mongolian-Chinese border resumes working

The volume of cargo that was transported through the Gantsmod border crossing in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region amounted to more than 2.1 million tons in January 2023, an increase of 436.23% year on year, the Gantsmod checkpoint management committee said.

The figure grew by 51.88% from January 2020, marking the full reopening of the checkpoint after China streamlined epidemic control measures last year.
