First president law becomes invalid in Kazakhstan

The law on the first president, Elbasy, became invalid in Kazakhstan. The Constitutional Court ruled this based on the results of the referendum on June 5, 2022, the text of the document says.

The Constitutional Court believes the preservation of the Constitutional law in current legislation is not consistent with the updated Constitution after the referendum on June 5, 2022, during which citizens approved the exclusion of the constitutional and legal foundations for the Constitutional law on the first president and other references.
