Excise tax receipts grow by 86% in 2022 in Kyrgyzstan

Excise tax receipts from alcohol made in Kyrgyzstan grew by 86% in 2022, the State Tax Service said.

The State Tax Service collected 1.78 billion soms in excise taxes in 2022, this is by 823 million soms and 86.1% more than in 2021.

The growth in excise tax receipts is explained with tightened control over turnover of alcohol by tax authorities.
