Daily consumption of electricity by each consumer in Kyrgyzstan is by 300-350 kW more than the country can generate, Minister of Energy Talaibek Ibraiev said at the meeting of the Parliament Committee for Fuel and Energy Complex on January 17.

Electricity generation capacity makes 3,256 MW, the Energy Minister said.

Consumption has reached 3,740 MW due to hard frost, he added.
