Eurasian Economic Union countries sign document forming common electricity market

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has approved the rules of access to interstate transmission of electricity within the common electricity market of the Eurasian Economic Union at the meeting in Almaty on February 2-3.

This is the first part of the package of rules necessary for launch of common electricity market, which will be adopted by heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union member states.
