   Background checks have become a critical part of the recruitment process in many countries but can present a variety of challenges for employers with a global presence.

   A Global Guide to Background Checks offers a practical overview of the approach to background checks in 50 key countries. Our largest guide to date, it covers the core background checks, identifies the applicable restrictions and sanctions in each country and incorporates quick reference 'traffic lights' tools to highlight whether a background check is standard practice or prohibited in a particular jurisdiction.
