Discharge of water from Toktogul dam reaches highest level since start of winter amid freezing air temperatures

The disharge of water from the Toktogul dam has reached the highest level since start of winter on January 13, Electric Stations JSC reported.

The water discharge has reached 881 cubic meters a second, this is 61% higher than last year.

The water discharge depends on electricity consumption level, the Electric Stations said.

Several districts of Bishkek remained without electricity in evening hours yesterday.
