Gobierno de
Ia
Republica de Colombia
("GDC" o

"Donatario"):
POR CUANTO,
el
Gobierno de los Estados
Unidos de America y
el
Gobierno de
Ia
Republica de Colombia y (las "Partes")
firmaron
el
Convenio General para Ayuda
Econ6mica, Tecnica y Afin, de fecha 23 de
julio de 1962 y
Ia
asistencia provista bajo este
Convenio esta sujeta a los terminos y
condiciones del Convenio General;
POR CUANTO, las Partes celebraron un
Convenio de Donaci6n el
30
de agosto de
1999 (
el
"Convenio") con el Objetivo
Estrategico: "reducir la producci6n de
cultivos ilicitos en areas seleccionadas de
Colombia";
POR CUANTO, las Partes, a traves de esta
Enmienda No. Trece, desean enmendar
adicionalmente
el
Convenio para:
1) El Anexo
1,
referenciado en el
ARTICULO 2., Anexo 1 Del Convenio de
Donaci6n del Objetivo Estrategico.
Descripci6n Ampliada. es reemplazado en
su
totalidad y es sustituido por
el
adjunto
Anexo 1 - "Descripci6n Ampliada del
Programa".
2) Sustituir en
su
totalidad y reemplazar
el
literal (a) del ARTICULO
3,
Secci6n 3.1,
Contribuci6n de USAID, para obligar
fondos adicionales; y
3) Sustituir
en
su
totalidad y reemplazar
el
Anexo 2 "Presupuesto Ilustrativo y Plan
Financiero Revisado" del Convenio de
Donaci6n para incluir nuevos recursos
del
AF
2007 obligados a traves de esta
Enmienda; proyectar obligaciones futuras;
y actualizar
el
calculo de
Ia
contribuci6n de
contrapartida.
