el
Gobierno
de
los Estados Unidos
de America, actuando a traves
de
la Agencia
para
el
Desarrollo Internacional
de
los Estados
Unidos
de
America ("USAID") y
el
Gobierno
de la Republica
de
Colombia ("GDC" o
el
"Donatario"):
POR CUANTO,
el
Gobierno de los Estados
Unidos de America y
el
Gobierno
de
la
Republica de Colombia y (las "Partes")
firmaron
el
Convenio General para Ayuda
Econ6mica, Tecnica y Afin,
de
fecha
23
de
julio de 1962 y la asistencia provista bajo este
Convenio esta sujeta a los terminos y
condiciones del Convenio General;
POR CUANTO, las Partes celebraron un
Convenio de Donaci6n del Objetivo
Estrategico
el
30 de agosto de 1999 (
el
"Convenio"), para Promover Alternativas
Econ6micas y Sociales a la Producci6n de
Cultivos Ilicitos (el "Programa");
POR CUANTO, las Partes, a traves
de
esta
Enmienda No. Diez, desean enmendar
adicionalmente
el
Convenio para:
1)
Cambiar
el
nombre
del
Objetivo
Estrategico;
2)
Afiadir lenguaje
al
ARTiCULO
2,
Secci6n
2.2
Resultados, para reflejar los resultados
intermedio de la estrategia revisada de
USAID;
3)
Anular
en
su
to
tali dad y reemplazar
el
Anexo
1,
referenciado
en
el
ARTICULO
2,
Secci6n 2.3, Anexo 1 Del Convenio
de
Donaci6n
del
Objetivo Estrategico,
Descripci6n Ampliada, de acuerdo con la
estrategia revisada
de
USAID;
4)
Anular en
su
to
tali
dad
y reemplazar los
I! literales (a), (b) y (d) del ARTiCULO
3,
Secci6n 3.1, Contribuci6n de USAID, para
1 obligar fondos adicionales;

Anular en su totalidad y reemplazar
el
literal (b)
del
ARTICULO

Contribuci6n del Donatario, para actualizar
e incrementar la contribuci6n
de
contrapartida del Donatmio

Programa;

Anular en su totalidad y reemplazar

Financiero Revisado"
de
la Enmienda No.
AMENDMENT No. TEN, dated June
24,
2005, between the Government
of
the
United States
of
America, acting through the
United States Agency for International
Development ("USAID"), and the
Government
of
the Republic
of
Colombia
("GOC" or "Grantee"):
WHEREAS, the Government
of
the United
States
of
America and the Government
of
the Republic
of
Colombia (the "Parties")
entered into a General Agreement for
Economic, Technical, and Related
Assistance, dated July 23, 1962, and the
assistance provided under this Agreement
is subject
to
the terms and conditions
of
the
General Agreement;
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into a
Strategic Objective Grant Agreement on
August 30, 1999 (the "Agreement"),
to
Promote Economic and Social Alternatives
to
Illicit Crop Production (the "Program");
WHEREAS, the Parties, through this
Amendment No. Ten desire
to
further amend
the Agreement
to:
1)
Change the name
of
the Strategic
Objective;
2)
Add
lanbTUage
to
ARTICLE
2,
Section 2.2
Results,
to
reflect the intermediate results
of
the revised
US
AID
strategy;
3)
Delete in its entirety and replace Annex
1,
referenced in ARTICLE
2,
Section 2.3,
Annex 1
to
the Strategic Objective Grant
Agreement, Amplified Description, in
accordance with the revised USAID
strategy;
4)
Delete in its entirety and replace items (a),
(b)
and (d)
of
ARTICLE
3,
Section 3.1,
USAID Contribution,
to
obligate
additional funds;
5)
Delete in its entirety and replace item
(b)
of
ARTICLE
3,
Section 3.2., Grantee
Contribution
to
update and increase the
Grantee's counterpart contribution
to
the
Program;
6)
Delete in its entirety and replace Annex 1
"Revised Illustrative Budget and Financial
Plan"
of
