Construction of houses for ethnic Kyrgyz repatriated from Afghanistan planned in Chon Alay

Houses will be built for ethnic Kyrgyz repatriated to Kyrgyzstan from Afghanistan in Chon Alay district of Osh region, district vice governor Beknazar Baktybekov said.

Construction will begin in spring, he said.

"22 families were repatriated from the Small and Big Pamir Mountains in Afghanistan in April 2022. They live in Daarot-Korgon village. 30 ha of land in Burgan-Suu village were allocated for construction of houses for them," the governor said.
