Ban on export of more than $10,000 in cash imposed in Kyrgyzstan

The temporary ban on export of US dollars in cash from the Kyrgyz Republic has been imposed. The respective resolution was signed by Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Japarov.

Non-residents and foreign nationals are prohibited to take more than $5,000 in cash out of Kyrgyzstan.

Residents and citizens of Kyrgyzstan are prohibited to take more than $10,000 in cash out of the country.
