President of Afghanistan Accuses U.s. of Withholding Supplies 02 December 2013, 16:35

Karzai Afghan President Hamid Karzai has accused the United States of withholding military supplies in an effort to pressure him into signing a stalled bilateral security deal, reported RFE/RL.

A statement from Karzai's office late on December 1 said "the cutting of fuel supplies and support services to the Afghan Army and police is being used as a means of pressure to ensure Afghanistan signs the Bilateral Security Agreement."

Washington denied the accusation.
